JOB TITLE(3): Maintenance Manager
1- FUNCTIONAL AREA: Maintenance Matters
2- MAIN ROLE: Maintencance Manager
3- RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:
The responsibilities and objectives of the Maintenance Manager contain basically following activities and competences:
1) Responsible for the quality coordination and carrying out of normal or unnormal maintenance activity and machinery preparations in accordance with the mill director.
2) Responsible to write the maintenance plans and maintenance program and to effect the same in the factory. Organize and optimize the work of all persons involved in maintenance within the department.
3) Responsible to handle and control all external maintenance personnel and relative contract.
4) Responsible for an optimum and efficient handling of normal and preventive maintenance of production machinery.
5) Responsible to order all consumption material necessary for the maintenance as well as spare parts and lubricants and keep contacting with suppliers and agents of the same.
6) Responsible for the supervision and carrying out of emergency maintenance and machinery pair.
7) Responsible to organize and supervise the work of the maintenance personnel.
8) Responsible to understand the reasons for machine damages as well as to find solution.
9) Timely Information of potential problems to the production director.
10) Responsible to coordinate and carry out the maintenance programs.
11) Responsible to propose external maintenance companies of required.
12) Collaborate with the production director in the research for performance and quality improvement of the machinery.
Hierarchical and functional dependence:
The maintenance manager reports hierarchically to the vice mill director. The spirit of this dependence is on the basis of teamwork, on the correct and timely involvement of the respective responsible persons/departments.
