Australian EMI finished this week at Au¢649/kg, 3¢ cheaper to the previous week, or a decrease of 7¢ in US$ terms. This was a fluctuant week for domestic Wool market. NWM Indicator finished this week at RMB49.81/kg, decreased by RMB0.38/kg. The strongest losses experienced across China-combed Australian Wool Tops while both Australian Greasy Wools and Chinese Wool Tops fell greatly. Almost all the others dropped in small ranges.

Imported Greasy Wool indicator decreased by RMB0.31/kg, closing the week at RMB41.10/kg. Australian Greasy Wool sub-indicator quoted at RMB47.27/kg), RMB0.46/kg cheaper, comprised of the losses of RMB1.20/kg in T54p (RMB63.50/kg), RMB0.40/kg in T54 (RMB57.0/kg), RMB0.90/kg in T55, RMB0.60/kg in T56, RMB1.00/kg in T58 and RMB0.50-1.00/kg in Medium Fine types T423 and T424. In contrast, New Zealand Greasy Wool sub-indicator was still at RMB28.75/kg, same to the previous week.

Imported Wool Top indicator closed this week at RMB60.75/kg, RMB0.05/kg cheaper. Australian Wool Tops were still lack of quotations. Uruguayan Wool Top sub-indicator eased to finish the week at RMB37.46/kg, RMB0.15/kg easier. This mainly reflected the decrease of RMB0.30/kg in 58s.

China-Combed Imported Wool Top indicator fell greatly to end this week at RMB49.63/kg, RMB0.86/kg cheaper. China-Combed Australian Wool Top sub-indicator dropped by RMB1.28/kg (-1.9%) to end the week at RMB65.77/kg, comprised of the losses of RMB0.80/kg in 80s, RMB0.70/kg in 70s, RMB1.50/kg in 66s, RMB0.90/kg in 64s, RMB0.70/kg in 60s, RMB0.70/kg in 58s and RMB0.20/kg in 56s while the gain of RMB0.10/kg in 50s. China-combed New Zealand Wool Top sub-indicator decreased by RMB0.05/kg to close at RMB34.68/kg. This mainly reflected the drop of RMB0.20/kg in 48/50s.

Imported Clothing Wool indicator finished this week at RMB35.00/kg, unchanged again.

Chinese Wool Top indicator finish this week at RMB44.45/kg, RMB0.41RMB/kg cheaper, comprised of the decreases of RMB1.00/kg in 66s (RMB50.50/kg), RMB0.20/kg in 64s (RMB45.10/kg) and RMB0.30/kg in 60s (RMB37.4/kg).
